I've enjoyed hiking and being in nature for as long as I've lived in the Pacific Northwest, and I'd always return from hikes with dozens of poorly-taken phone pictures. Eventually, I decided that it wasn't me - it was the phone - so I got a DSLR starter kit and upgraded to dozens of more detailed poorly-taken pictures. Sometime before the pandemic I realized my mistake and started trying to learn the art, practicing different techniques and taking a camera every time I went outside.

After a few years, I can't claim to be an expert photographer, but I've certainly come a long way. Some friends and family encouraged me to start publishing some of my work, so here we are!
